Adjunct Assistant Professor - Chemistry - Remote

Overview

The Adjunct Assistant Professor will provide online course facilitation for nursing programs while maintaining high teaching standards and engaging with a diverse student body.

In Short

• Teach nursing courses online using existing curriculum.
• Improve instruction quality through innovative methodologies.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain attendance records.
• Utilize LMS for course content delivery.
• Provide office hours and maintain student communication.
• Participate in professional development and maintain licensure.
• Serve as subject matter expert for accreditation requirements.
• Conduct weekly recorded synchronous sessions for students.
• Assist in curriculum and evaluation committee activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in California.
• Master's Degree in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred.
• Experience in online nursing education.
• Knowledge of educational methodologies and distance education techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
