Senior Real Estate Counsel - Spain - Remote

Overview

The Senior Real Estate Counsel (EU) will play a key role in Unison’s core mission, focusing on opening new European markets and managing a pipeline of transactions.

In Short

• Manage a pipeline of deals across various European markets.
• Facilitate dialogue between pricing, origination, legal, and management teams.
• Lead efforts to open new markets including compliance and entity setup.
• Oversee local counsel with respect to document negotiation and due diligence.
• Underwrite transactions and prepare recommendations to senior executives.
• Advise on various commercial and corporate matters.
• 5+ years of experience as a commercial real estate lawyer required.
• Fluency in English and preferably one other European language.
• Proficiency with technology including Office 365 and Salesforce.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in real estate law.
• Experience with ground lease aggregation or renewable energy projects preferred.
• Qualified to practice law in an EU member state.
• Residence and work authorization within the EU, preferably Spain.
• Fluency in English and at least one other European language preferred.
• Proficient in Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint, and Salesforce.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Outstanding oral, written & analytical skills.
• High level of ethical and professional values.
