Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our growing legal team. You will work closely with global teams across marketing, commercial, procurement and legal functions, advising on a range of issues including data protection, regulatory compliance and strategic contracting. This role is ideal for a UK-qualified lawyer with experience with global online services who can effectively manage a variety of needs in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Advise on compliance with consumer, advertising and online platform legislation.
• Assist teams in reviewing new products and features for legal compliance.
• Maintain Business’s IP portfolio.
• Assist in identifying and resolving fraudulent use of services.
• Develop marketing compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide legal guidance on market entry strategies.
• Provide counsel on data privacy laws and regulations.
• Investigate and resolve legal issues from member complaints.
• Partner with stakeholders to build awareness on compliance matters.

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in England and Wales with 7+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation and drafting.
• Extensive experience advising on marketing compliance and data privacy matters.
• Familiarity with legal frameworks in key regions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Deep expertise in EU and UK regulations.
• Highly organised, proactive and self-motivated.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Startup mentality with a can-do attitude.
• Comfortable discussing technology.
