The Senior Software Engineer will provide full-stack development support for UMB's Alternative Investments web applications, contributing to the development of software used by Fund Accountants and investors.

In Short

Provide full-stack development for investment management software.
Design and implement cloud-based architecture.
Deliver high-availability services and maintainable websites.
Mentor team members and foster a learning environment.
Work with technologies such as AWS, Azure, React.js, and Node.js.
Utilize relational and non-relational databases.
Drive technical strategy and implementation of coding principles.
Collaborate closely with team members on enterprise-level solutions.
Assist in improving development efficiency and best practices.
Work hybrid with 2 days on-site for local candidates.

Requirements

7 years of experience in a technical role or a related degree with 5 years of experience.
2 years of experience with cloud technologies.
In-depth experience with APIs or GraphQL.
Strong experience with Node.js for back-end development.
Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
Knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD processes.
Legal authority to work in the USA.
