Continuous Improvement Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Continuous Improvement team collaborates with lines of business groups across the UMB footprint to analyze performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make incremental changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall value for the organization. As the Continuous Improvement (CI) Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the development of internal bank process and performance improvement efforts.

In Short

• Partner with line of business leaders to charter new process efficiency opportunities.
• Work with product/process owners to implement best practices.
• Drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead teams in the delivery of complex, large-scale process improvement programs.
• Identify optimization solutions to business problems.
• Develop strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners.
• Leverage Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, and Business Transformation tools.
• 5 years of financial services operational experience required.
• 8 years of hands-on process improvement experience required.
• Legal authority to work in the United States is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Engineering.
• Strong leadership abilities and exceptional customer service skills.
• Good analytical and strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to lead and execute senior level process analysis.
• Self-motivated achieving mindset.
• Experience with RPA, VBA, Workflow, and/or OCR tools is a bonus.
• Lean Certification and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is a bonus.
• Knowledge of Agile project delivery methodology is a bonus.
