Overview

As a Healthcare Account Specialist for UMB's Client Experience team, you will serve as the primary contact for small employer prospects and clients, managing relationships and promoting UMB's healthcare payment solutions.

In Short

  • Primary contact for small employer prospects and clients.
  • Manage existing client relationships and provide ongoing support.
  • Explain and promote UMB Healthcare Services products.
  • Develop relationships with prospects, customers, and brokers.
  • Prepare and present proposals and account reviews.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Industry certifications preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Focus on client engagement and retention.
  • Support UMB’s growth strategy in healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • Two (2) or more years of healthcare, customer service, or sales support experience.
  • Ability to obtain industry certifications within 6 months.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on client solutions.
  • Performance-driven mindset.
  • Ability to assess and identify client needs.
  • Proactive in promoting client engagement and program optimization.
