Enterprise Fraud Data Strategy Analyst - Remote

Overview

This position will report directly to the Manager, Enterprise Fraud Strategy, supporting business reporting and analytical needs for multi channel payment systems.

In Short

• Analyze fraud trends using statistical modeling and recommend actionable solutions.
• Work with Enterprise Fraud Prevention and Claims teams to provide data for fraud management.
• Support business reporting needs for multi-channel payment systems like Card, Check, Digital Banking, etc.
• Communicate with peer banks and industry organizations regarding fraud trends.
• Manage time and meet deadlines under general supervision.
• Stay current with UMB's fraud policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in problem solving, analytics, and reporting.
• Collaborate with multiple lines of business to achieve common goals.
• Deliver reports to meet the expectations of senior executives.
• Participate in various duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics or equivalent field OR 2 years data analytics or banking experience.
• 1 - 2 years experience in card, check, ACH, or wire fraud strategy development.
• Familiarity with fraud strategy systems like First Data's Defense Edge or IBM's Safer Payment.
• Aptitude in SAS or equivalent systems.
• Knowledge of analysis tools such as Angoss, KnowledgeStudio.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Legal authority to work in the United States (Work Visa sponsorship not available).
