Overview

The SSO Clinical Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for managing Global Drug Development studies, ensuring compliance with Novartis processes and regulatory requirements, and leading communication with various stakeholders.

• Accountable for planning, executing, and reporting on clinical studies.
• Single point of contact for assigned studies within the country/cluster/hub.
• Collaborates with various managers to ensure study delivery.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans.
• Maintains oversight of data management and study activities.
• Ensures compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Manages study budgets and contract negotiations.
• Conducts training for CRAs and oversees study readiness.
• Participates in global clinical trial team meetings.
• Promotes adherence to ethical standards in clinical trials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health discipline.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Understanding of drug development processes and regulations.
• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Advanced degree preferred.
