Overview

Repwest Insurance is looking for an experienced Major Case Unit Adjuster to manage claims related to affirmative litigation. This in-office role requires strong communication skills and organizational abilities.

In Short

  • Manage a desk of claims taken over by the Major Case Unit.
  • Review files for potential dec action.
  • Adjust reserves and assign files to defense attorneys.
  • Ensure follow-up on dec action drafts and service updates.
  • Negotiate settlements and prepare formal denial letters.
  • Work closely with U-Haul Legal and defense counsel.
  • Handle incoming correspondence and manage communications.
  • Participate in strategy calls with management.
  • Assist in investigations with FBI and NICB as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in handling bodily injury claims.
  • Litigation knowledge/experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SIU practices is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to negotiate settlements effectively.
  • Experience with legal correspondence and documentation.
  • Team player with a focus on collaboration.
