Overview

Join us as our next Principal Solutions Engineer on Twilio’s Strategic Communications team, where you will be a critical part of the sales team focused on our Contact Center customers.

In Short

  • Lead technical pre-sales relationship and drive technical discovery.
  • Propose technical architectures and demonstrate products.
  • Build customer trust in Twilio’s solutions.
  • Engage with customers at various levels, including CEOs and software engineers.
  • Mentor less experienced Solutions Engineers.
  • Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community.
  • Approximately 25% travel is anticipated.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on pre-sales activities.
  • Help customers achieve success with Twilio’s APIs.
  • Provide leadership and deal support within the Solutions Engineer organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years pre-sales experience or 10+ years supporting technical products.
  • Excellent communicator and presenter.
  • Ability to understand customer communications needs.
  • Knowledge of contact center skills (ACD, IVR, VoIP, etc.).
  • Experience with software development (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Previous experience in Telecom or Contact Center.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
