Platform Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

This is a fully remote role within the United States, where you will help shape the Platform Engineering function at Turquoise Health, focusing on building, deploying, and operating infrastructure that supports real-world healthcare outcomes.

In Short

• Support the Platform Infrastructure and manage container environments on Amazon EKS.
• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and maintain CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.
• Define and track SLIs and SLOs, lead incident response, and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
• Design and maintain monitoring and logging stacks using Datadog, Sentry, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions and build internal tooling for easier platform operation.
• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Confident with core AWS services and cloud networking practices.
• Expert in Infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Crossplane.
• Proficient in GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes clusters and managing application deployments.

Requirements

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud security best practices.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps workflows.
• Proficient with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry).
• Experience in writing Python scripts for automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
