Overview

The SMB Account Executive (AE) at Trustwell is responsible for cultivating and closing new relationships within the food manufacturing, food service, and supplement manufacturing markets, leveraging the Genesis R&D SAAS software suite.

  • Identify and engage potential SMB customers through outbound prospecting.
  • Design and execute multi-touch prospecting campaigns.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Expand the customer base by acquiring new business.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Work collaboratively in a high-performing sales organization.
  • Achieve individual sales quotas and contribute to company goals.
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales enablement tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized with strong accountability.
  • Experience in consultative or solution-based selling.
  • Track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to navigate customer objections effectively.
  • Background in the food & beverage industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with high-growth companies preferred.
