In Short

• Support the People Team and Chief Legal Officer on labor and employment-related topics.
• Advise on employment laws affecting applicants and employees.
• Coordinate internal investigations and manage disciplinary actions.
• Update employment-related policies and deliver training.
• Identify and reduce employment-related risks.
• Manage outside counsel in employment litigation.
• File annual reports related to employment compliance.
• Collaborate on projects impacting employee benefits and compensation.
• 5+ years of experience in employment/labor law required.
• Ability to thrive in a remote and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission to the state bar or ability to practice in-house.
• Experience in-house with a tech company preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Adept at assessing legal risks and advising management.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills.
• Experience managing outside counsel.
• Comfortable in a remote work setting.
