Overview

The Business Development Associate is an entry-level role designed for a highly motivated individual looking to launch a career in energy and sustainability advisory services. This position will play a critical role in supporting the firm’s growth by identifying market opportunities, developing client relationships, and enabling the delivery of impactful energy and sustainability solutions.

In Short

• Engage, qualify and drive leads through the contracting process.
• Maintain and update CRM databases.
• Assist in drafting proposals and pitch materials.
• Conduct research on client sustainability goals.
• Participate in client calls and meetings.
• Work closely with internal delivery teams.
• Support reporting on pipeline activity and KPIs.
• Track success of campaigns and outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) a plus.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
