In Short

• Administer DB2 LUW databases on Linux platform.
• Install, upgrade and patch DB2 databases.
• Strong with backup and recovery.
• Conduct performance tuning of high scale databases.
• Strong experience in setting up DR databases and perform DR tests.
• Experience with automation using shell scripting or Ansible.
• Experience working with development teams for object deployment and setting up data replication.
• Provides status report updates to managers.

Requirements

• 10 + Years of experience in DB2 DBA with Replication.
• Expertise in Database Installation and Configuration.
• Strong in HADR, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management and troubleshooting.
• Experience in database design, patch and version management.
• Knowledge in capacity Planning, documentation, collaboration, automation monitoring.
• Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning.
