In Short

  • We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data Science & Engineering team.
  • Responsible for turning medical and pharmacy claims data into actionable insights.
  • Utilize strong quantitative analysis, SQL, and Python skills.
  • Work cross-functionally with data engineering, product, and data quality teams.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable Databricks workflows.
  • Implement data quality monitoring frameworks.
  • Support modernization by refactoring legacy SAS scripts.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on healthcare data.
  • Collaborate with the product team on analytic projects.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of the healthcare industry.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data science, preferably in healthcare.
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with Databricks and machine learning workflows.
  • Understanding of data lineage.
  • Experience with statistical modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of medical claims data and coding systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with software development tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • A passion for using data to improve healthcare.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
