In Short

• We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to help design, build, manage, and operate the infrastructure behind our healthcare data platform.
• You will spend as much time building reliable, scalable infrastructure as you will working with the data that flows through it.
• You’ll work with diverse healthcare datasets (EHR, BCDA, CCLF, CRM) and contribute to a platform that will support our analytics product.
• Responsible for building pipelines, maintaining operations, and enabling new platform features.
• Contributing to architectural design decisions and ensuring high availability, discoverability, quality, and throughput.

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Core Competencies: Python, SQL, Apache Spark, PySpark.
• Data Modeling & Warehousing Concepts.
• Experience with dbt or SQLMesh.
• Experience with major data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
• Awareness of Data Governance and Security concepts.
• Prior experience working with PHI/PII.
• Healthcare Domain Knowledge including HIPAA compliance.
