Overview

The Account Executive Officer (AEO), National Accounts will partner with agents, brokers, and customers to provide guaranteed cost and loss sensitive coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs.

In Short

  • Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
  • Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute agency sales plans.
  • Travel to meet with agents, brokers, and customers.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced Account Executives.
  • Proactively assess underwriting, marketing, or financial challenges.
  • Communicate effectively and negotiate in difficult situations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience.
  • Deep knowledge of loss sensitive products.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • CPCU designation preferred.
  • Four years of underwriting, claim, or sales experience.
