RemoteOtterRemoteOtterTransgender Law Center’s policy team seeks a law student as a part- or full-time legal intern for the summer of 2025, providing a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience working in transgender rights policy.
Transgender Law Center (TLC) is the largest national, trans-led organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and self-determination of transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals. With a strong focus on supporting BIPOC, disabled, and HIV+ communities, TLC employs community-driven strategies to promote safety, authenticity, and empowerment for all. The organization engages in a multidisciplinary approach to advocacy, including policy work, impact litigation, public education, and direct services, addressing a wide range of legal issues affecting transgender people across the United States. Through initiatives like the Legal Information Helpdesk and the Prison Mail Response Program, TLC aims to break down barriers to legal access and ensure that transgender individuals can thrive and fight for their liberation.
