Assistant Controller - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Controller will own and manage key areas of the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required.
• 10-15+ years of relevant experience.
• 5-7 years in a Big 4 public accounting firm.
• Experience in venture-backed startups or pre-IPO companies.
• Involvement in IPO process.
• Expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
