Overview

As the Practice Director for Toptal’s Business Strategy and Finance Consulting Practice, you will have the opportunity to build and lead one of the most strategic practices as we grow our professional services business.

• Build and scale Toptal’s Business Strategy and Finance Consulting Practices.
• Develop attractive, scalable offerings that resonate with specific industry segments.
• Lead client conversations to understand current and future demand.
• Drive the success of consulting projects by owning both sales and delivery end-to-end.
• Ensure our talent network is prepared to meet market demands.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales Leaders, and Talent Operations teams.
• Implement risk management frameworks and optimize financial performance.
• Create thought leadership content to showcase competitive edge.
• Engage in key client pursuits focused on consulting services.
• Regularly travel to meet and engage with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in business strategy and/or finance consulting.
• 3+ years managing business results including sales and profitability.
• Strong consulting experience with excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of rapid career progression.
• Experience in packaging, pricing, and delivering solutions.
• Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Confidence in analysis abilities and delivering results.
• Skilled in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
