In Short

  • Build a portfolio of clients by prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to engage Toptal's network as client needs arise.
  • Grow your portfolio to $5M, $10M, and $15M+.
  • Conduct research and outreach to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and collaborate with clients.
  • Develop a network of client relationships and advocates.
  • Mentor new team members about Toptal's model.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attend scheduled virtual team meetings on camera.
  • Utilize digital collaboration tools effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Extensive experience in selling Consulting or Managed Service solutions.
  • Proven track record in full-cycle sales to enterprise clients.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and software delivery concepts.
  • Ability to build and execute territory plans.
  • Experience in prospecting and leading virtual sales calls.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular or periodic travel to meet clients.
  • World-class individual contributor mindset.
