Overview

Our client, a market-leading materials manufacturer, is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Preferred Accounts Manager to join their top-performing Roofing Systems team. Renowned for innovation, product excellence, and a strong company culture, they’re looking for a strategic sales leader to manage and grow key commercial client partnerships across South Florida.

In Short

  • Develop, manage, and grow high-value commercial client relationships across the assigned South Florida territory.
  • Drive the conversion of key prospects into long-term Preferred Accounts through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, specifiers, roofing consultants, and public sector stakeholders to promote brand adoption.
  • Partner closely with certified contractors and internal sales teams to deliver value-based solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Preferred Accounts in the region.
  • Lead client engagement efforts from prospecting through post-project support, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Represent the brand at key industry functions, including association events and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 5–7 years of experience in commercial roofing or commercial construction sales (residential experience will not be considered).
  • 3–5 years of experience in national or regional account management.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction process and building envelope systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the region.
  • Must reside in the Miami, FL area and be near a major airport.
  • Physically able to access rooftops and carry up to 50 lbs.
