Field Service Engineer - Italy (Bologna area) - Remote

Overview

TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing support to our customers mainly in the North-East of Italy. This role is ideal for those with an adventurous spirit, as there will be lots of travel, mainly domestic across Italy and occasional trips abroad.

In Short

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization and repair of sensor-based sorters.
• Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems.
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Optimizing sorting systems/process by sampling and testing.
• Identifying opportunities to add value.
• Acting as a link between customers and Headquarters.
• Traveling 80% or more within Italy.
• Receiving training in Germany.
• Working in an international environment.
• Engaging in teamwork with qualified colleagues.

Requirements

• Completed secondary technical school or higher in a related field.
• Reside in Bologna or within 100 km radius.
• Work experience in an industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in computer programs and network structures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Italian language skills (native speaker/advanced).
• Intermediate level of English.
• Full clean driving license required.
• Knowledge of recycling processes is a plus.
