Senior Manager, Finance Systems & Operations - Remote

Overview

Toast is driven by building the all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business, increase sales, engage guests, and keep employees happy. Toast's Finance Strategy & Analytics (FS&A) team is seeking a Senior Manager to implement and oversee the company's financial planning systems and tools related to annual budgeting, management reporting, and Board reporting. Specifically, they will play a significant role in designing, implementing, and executing a scalable financial planning and reporting system to streamline these processes. This role will work closely with Finance Team Leadership, including our CFO, as well as the Accounting, Business Intelligence, IT, and Business Systems teams. This individual will be responsible for leading the integration of systems across these teams to deliver insights to the business and support strategic decision-making.

In Short

• Own Toast’s Adaptive Planning system, ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Design and drive long-term systems roadmap, encompassing support, enhancements, and project based implementations.
• Collaborate with third party contractors to execute on support model.
• Build and lead the FP&A Systems team by recruiting top-tier talent.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the Adaptive system.
• Develop thorough understanding of the business and how stakeholders utilize Adaptive.
• Lead development of scalable financial planning and reporting tools.
• Provide ongoing user support and training for finance team members.
• Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving forecast process issues.
• Design recommendations based on stakeholder feedback and business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of experience in financial systems, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Deep expertise in Adaptive, with proven ability as both a Solutions Architect and Builder.
• Experience integrating with NetSuite, Zip, Workday, and Greenhouse.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with large data sets.
• Strong track record of building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for distilling complex analyses.
• Effective project management skills; highly organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to think creatively and critically in a fast-paced environment.
