Manager, Credit Risk - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Credit Risk, will serve as a leader for our Credit Risk function, mentoring and managing a growing and hungry team of analysts who conduct portfolio and acquisition risk analysis. They will enhance our understanding of risks and develop easy-to-understand reports and dashboards, which will lead to making better decisions for business growth and discovering new opportunities for success in Toast's lending sector.

In Short

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the credit risk management strategy.
• Proactively identify emerging risks and propose data-driven mitigation solutions.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting framework for risk visibility.
• Foster partnerships with various teams for data-driven decision-making.
• Mentor and coach a team of credit risk analysts.
• Maintain and update credit risk policy documents and procedures.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in consumer or small business lending in a quantitative credit risk strategy role.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing a team.
• Quantitative degree preferred, Masters Degree or MBA a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in data visualization tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• An inquisitive nature with an affinity for data-driven decision-making.
• Proven ability to collaborate and promote teamwork.
