In Short

• Lead a team of experienced Developer Advocates and Editorial Lead.
• Own the content strategy and roadmap for developer engagement.
• Define and execute a comprehensive developer community program.
• Manage high-touch and low-touch community engagement strategies.
• Create technical content such as blogs, tutorials, and demos.
• Represent Timescale in public forums and conferences.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
• Build community health metrics and engagement funnels.
• Guide team execution to ensure strategic alignment.
• Foster a culture of trust and autonomy among team members.

Requirements

• Experience leading Developer Relations programs in tech-focused companies.
• Proven ability to manage senior individual contributors.
• Strong understanding of community strategy and metrics.
• Excellent technical storytelling skills.
• Experience with database or infrastructure technologies.
• Familiarity with time-series, real-time, or AI/ML use cases.
• Background in open-source ecosystems.
• Experience managing editorial operations.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Passion for building long-term value in community engagement.
