Staff Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Data Engineer at Tide, you will be responsible for building and running data pipelines and services that support business functions, reports, and dashboards, contributing to a finance platform designed for small businesses.

• Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience with Snowflake or similar technologies.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, and AWS.
• Proficient in advanced SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience in data ingestion techniques.
• Strong data modeling skills.
• Experience with ETL processes and large datasets.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh architecture is a plus.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Agile experience, preferably in a cross-functional team.
• Experience with Python and data governance tools is advantageous.
