Staff Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Data Engineer at Tide, you will be responsible for building and running data pipelines and services that support business functions, reports, and dashboards, utilizing a modern data stack.

In Short

• Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design and implement scalable data processes.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience with Snowflake or similar technologies.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, and AWS.
• Strong SQL skills and performance tuning experience.
• Experience in data ingestion techniques.
• Knowledge of data modeling and optimization.
• Experience with ETL processes and large datasets.
• Agile experience, preferably in cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with Python and data governance tools is a plus.
• Business-level English proficiency.
