The Account Manager serves as the primary post-sale point of contact for Thumbtack high-value professionals, ensuring they achieve their business results using the Thumbtack platform.

In Short

  • Understand professionals' strategic goals and support them in maximizing their Thumbtack experience.
  • Prioritize outreach efforts based on customer health and market indicators.
  • Build and execute account and action plans.
  • Introduce and drive adoption of new product features.
  • Propose expansion opportunities to meet professionals' growth targets.
  • Share best practices with professionals and colleagues.
  • Translate professional feedback into product requirements.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the Thumbtack platform and updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of proactive, customer-facing/account management experience OR 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of accounts and meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) is a must.
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate insights.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
