Overview

The Technical Support Engineer will provide remote client support with occasional onsite assistance, focusing on diverse computing environments and ensuring excellent customer service.

In Short

  • Work Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 1 AM EST.
  • Provide remote support to clients in various computing environments.
  • Analyze and document network environments for quick resolution.
  • Handle workstation incidents and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Utilize Thrive's software and tools for incident resolution.
  • Monitor service tickets and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Communicate troubleshooting steps clearly to clients.
  • Resolve incidents related to Office 365, network connectivity, and more.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possibility of travel to clients in the Greater Boston area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4+ years of desktop support experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of mobile device configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office installations and configurations.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary.
