As the Fractional Head of Legal at TheyDo, you will lead the legal function, ensuring clarity, speed, and confidence in legal processes as the company grows.

In Short

• Lead the legal function end-to-end from day-to-day contracting to long-term strategy.
• Refine and scale legal processes that support a fast-moving product and sales team.
• Act as the primary go-to person for all internal legal questions.
• Collaborate with external legal partners to extend capacity and expertise.
• Maintain and improve the global contract registry.
• Use technology and AI to streamline workflows and reduce manual work.
• Work closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to unblock deals and decisions.
• Translate legal complexity into clear, actionable guidance.
• Enable teams to self-serve with templates and playbooks.
• Stay on top of relevant regulatory developments.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with strong foundational legal training.
• Experience across both law firm and in-house environments.
• Background in SaaS and technology.
• Comfortable working across international jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial mindset.
• Clear communicator who simplifies complex topics.
• Proactive and self-directed.
• Interest in using technology and AI to improve legal operations.
