Overview

As a Legal Counsel at TheyDo, you will help run and improve the contracting function, supporting commercial deals and streamlining negotiations while ensuring a customer-centric approach.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and partner agreements.
• Support commercial negotiations and advise on risk.
• Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks.
• Own the internal contracting process and maintain the contract registry.
• Collaborate with external counsel on specialized legal topics.

Requirements

• A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in commercial contracting.
• Strong drafting skills and negotiation comfort.
• Experience with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Salesforce.
• Comfort with AI tools for drafting and analysis.
• Ability to deliver internal training to non-legal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and pragmatic judgment.
• Clear communication skills to explain legal concepts.
