Overview

PR Volt is seeking a Fractional Head of Engineering to lead and mentor our engineering team while implementing our technology strategy and product roadmap.

In Short

Part-time role (approximately 20 hours per month).
Lead and mentor the engineering team.
Define and implement technology strategy.
Oversee system design and architecture changes.
Manage budgets and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with product management.
Stay updated on industry trends.
Work remotely and manage a remote team.
Fluency in English required.
Availability to overlap with EST timezone.

Requirements

8+ years of software development experience.
2+ years of DevOps experience.
2+ years in managing engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of Python, Django, React, AWS, RDS Postgres, Elasticsearch.
Experience in software architecture and roadmapping.
Ability to manage budgets effectively.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work remotely.
