Technical Writer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create, manage, and enhance documentation that empowers our users—from therapists and administrators to technical stakeholders.

In Short

• Create and maintain a variety of documentation assets including product release notes, application user guides, knowledge base articles, and tutorials.
• Become a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) for TherapyNotes products.
• Apply best practices in document structure and visual hierarchy.
• Craft timely, accurate, and user-friendly status updates.
• Review and edit existing documentation for clarity and consistency.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve documentation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing for software applications.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Clear, concise communication style.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Zendesk, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Plus: Experience in the healthcare or behavioral health industry.
• Plus: Familiarity with basic HTML5 and CSS3.
