Overview

The Vertex Companies, LLC (VERTEX) is seeking a Director, Forensic Civil Engineering to expand our testifying expert team. This role involves testifying and providing expert support on civil cases, including construction defect litigation matters, while supporting client satisfaction and employee engagement.

• Lead the testifying expert team in forensic civil engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, etc.) or advanced degrees in specialization.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ industry experience.
• Previous deposition and testimony experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under high stress.
• Knowledge of standard software packages required.
