Senior Legal Counsel, Product and Digital - Remote

Overview

Nielsen seeks to hire a skilled, business-oriented lawyer to join the Legal Department’s Product & Digital Support team as Senior Counsel - Product & Digital supporting Nielsen’s Audience Measurement business.

In Short

• Provide legal support for product development, distribution and sales.
• Assess product features and functionalities to identify potential legal issues.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including data supplier agreements.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and data science teams.
• Manage contractual, regulatory, and privacy risks.
• Support compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Engage with internal and external clients effectively.
• Ensure appropriate contractual terms are met.
• Evaluate issues related to the use of AI.
• Make an impact on the media and advertising industries.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in digital media or technology law.
• Extensive knowledge of online and mobile communications.
• Experience with data processing and analytics.
• Solid understanding of AI products and related legal issues.
• Experience drafting complex contracts in digital advertising.
• Knowledge of relevant laws in contracts and privacy.
• Working knowledge of intellectual property law.
• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree required.
• Computer Science or Engineering background is a plus.
