Overview

The Head Global Labor & Employment Counsel serves as the primary legal point of contact for the Chief People Officer and the global Human Resources team, providing strategic counsel on global labor and employment matters.

• Serve as a strategic partner to the Chief People Officer and HR leadership.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to the Senior Counsel, Global Employment.
• Manage day-to-day legal matters with a client-friendly approach.
• Evaluate and update global employment policies and practices.
• Manage and reduce outside counsel spending.
• Provide legal guidance on all stages of the employee life cycle.
• Manage global employment disputes and investigations.
• Provide guidance on global labor organizations and works councils.
• Conduct diligence and provide counsel for mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of expertise in labor and employment law.
• J.D. and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Specialized depth in global labor and employment laws.
• Exceptional communication skills for complex concepts.
• Proven leadership and analytical thinking abilities.
• Ability to travel occasionally as required.
• Demonstrated impact on client and operational objectives.
