Nielsen seeks to hire a talented, enthusiastic and business-oriented lawyer to join the Legal Department’s Product & Digital Support team as Legal Counsel, Product & Digital supporting Nielsen’s Audience Measurement business.

In Short

• Provide legal support for product development, distribution and sales.
• Assess product features and identify potential legal issues.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with internal and external clients to resolve legal matters.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a detail-oriented approach.
• Support data processing teams with legal guidance.
• Knowledge of relevant laws in contracts and privacy.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in digital media or technology law.
• Working knowledge of internet and mobile communications.
• Experience with data processing and identity resolution.
• Experience in drafting complex contracts in digital advertising.
• Knowledge of intellectual property and privacy law.
• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree required.
• Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics background is a plus.
