The Mission Continues empowers veterans to continue their service and create a visible impact in under-resourced communities. We are looking for a Manager of Platoon Operations to support volunteer leaders and enhance our veteran volunteer movement.

In Short

• Support volunteer platoon leaders across the country.
• Work remotely with a requirement to be located in specific cities.
• Full-time, temporary position.
• Coach and guide volunteer teams to orchestrate impactful projects.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure success.
• Prepare reports and manage data tracking.
• Assist in volunteer recruitment and retention strategies.
• Manage budgets for platoon leadership teams.
• Foster productive relationships with team members.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient leadership and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Project management experience.
• Adaptability to tackle challenges.
• Ability to work with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database operations.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Military service or experience in community organizations is preferred.
