Overview

The Manager, Operations will oversee a team managing OntarioMD Corporate IT services and products, ensuring best practices in IT management and security.

In Short

  • Lead and manage a team of technical staff.
  • Collaborate with OMA Operations staff for IT service delivery.
  • Coordinate operations-led initiatives.
  • Handle escalations and troubleshoot advanced issues.
  • Participate in the design and deployment of infrastructure components.
  • Define and monitor IT security policies and standards.
  • Develop relationships with internal partners and vendors.
  • Manage service and license contract renewals.
  • Monitor IT operational expenditures.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ experience in IT, preferably in Healthcare.
  • 2+ years’ management experience in IT.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • High level of information security awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to influence technical teams.
  • University education in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred certifications like ITIL, PMP, or CISSP.
