Overview

The USA Benefits Manager is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of employee benefits programmes across the United States.

In Short

  • Lead the transition from fully insured to self-funded health insurance.
  • Manage the US benefits budget and financial oversight.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for all US benefits partners.
  • Manage the company's 401(k) plan and retirement benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with US benefits regulations.
  • Design engaging benefits communications for employees.
  • Collaborate with global benefits team and other departments.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities without compromising employee experience.
  • Monitor claims trends and utilization data.
  • Develop competitive health plan options aligned with company objectives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive benefits experience.
  • Strong knowledge of self-funded health plan structures.
  • Experience managing a benefits budget and financial models.
  • Experience with US benefits compliance regulations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing external vendors and brokers.
  • Familiarity with global HR or payroll platforms.
  • Experience in a global or multinational company is a plus.
  • CEBS or CBP designation is a nice to have.
