Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for various critical functions within the Mortgage branch to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan files.

In Short

• Input application data into the system and ensure data accuracy.
• Review complex files, identify issues, and determine solutions.
• Prepare or assist with loan documentation.
• Review loan application package for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and bank policy standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of State/Federal regulations.
• Work effectively under specific time constraints.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2 years of college preferred.
• Understanding of general loan guidelines.
• Previous mortgage loan experience.
• One year experience with Encompass.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
