Overview

The Mortgage Loan Assistant is responsible for assisting loan processors and officers in managing loan files to ensure they progress efficiently.

• Assist processors and loan officers with daily functions.
• Receive and review loan application files for completeness.
• Compile and communicate lists of missing documents to borrowers.
• Upload required documents and request file setups.
• Follow up on signed disclosures and verify employment details.
• Order title work and insurance as needed.
• Maintain follow-through systems for missing items.
• Ensure closing requirements are met.
• Document the entire loan process accurately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years mortgage experience.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Knowledge of banking products and MS Office.
