Overview

The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of loan files within the Mortgage branch.

In Short

• Input application data collected by Loan Officer into the system.
• Review complex files and identify issues.
• Prepare and assist with loan documentation.
• Review loan application packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of State/Federal regulations.
• Work effectively under time constraints.
• Collaborate as part of a team and work independently.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2 years of college preferred.
• Understanding of general loan guidelines.
• Previous mortgage loan experience.
• One year experience with Encompass.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
