Loan Officer Assistant - Remote

Summit Funding is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support our team in Texas, providing excellent customer service and managing loan processing tasks.

• Full-time remote position with occasional travel to Texas branches.
• Starting pay rate between $19 to $24 per hour based on experience.

• Must be able to work 40 hours per week with potential for overtime.

Requirements

• 2+ years of mortgage processing, underwriting, or origination experience.
• Registered and licensed through NMLS or willing to obtain license.
• Experience with Texas loans, especially DPA, preferred.
• Proficient in DU/DO, LP, and major origination systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable and self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with closing statements and escrow issues.
• Ability to track leads and follow up on referrals.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
