Overview

The Human Resources Specialist assists in the administration of the human resource functions for Texana Bank and its employees, focusing on onboarding, employee life-cycle administration, and record keeping.

In Short

• Administer employee life cycle - hiring, transfers
• Open and close job requisitions
• Assist with internal audits
• Complete monthly benefits reconciliation
• Facilitate effective resolution of day-to-day HR matters
• Provide administrative support for special HR projects
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources preferred
• HR experience or Executive/Admin Assistant experience preferred
• Efficient in Microsoft applications; HRIS Paylocity experience a plus
• General knowledge of labor and employment laws
• Ability to build rapport with employees and managers
• Proficient organizational and time-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
