• Lead the development of peer-to-peer applications using the Pear Runtime.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with Holepunch engineers.
• Design and maintain desktop and mobile applications.
• Integrate and extend the Pear Runtime and Holepunch stack.
• Ship new features and optimize performance.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams.
• Coordinate documentation and training plans.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Ensure best practices in modular application design.
• Contribute to open-source modules.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with React Native and/or Electron.
• Experience leading development teams.
• Comfortable with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience with local-first applications.
• Familiarity with cross-platform packaging and deployment.
• Solid grasp of asynchronous programming and data synchronization.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent communication skills.
