Inpatient Corporate Coding Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Inpatient Corporate Coding Coordinator codes diagnoses and procedures of inpatient accounts according to ICD-10-CM/PCS. This role involves assisting the Corporate Coding Manager with second level coding reviews and educating coders on correct coding.

In Short

• Perform second level coder reviews on accounts.

• Attend coding education sessions and maintain credentials.

Requirements

• 3-5 years acute hospital coding experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Ability to analyze coding reports.
• Associates Degree in Health Information Management.
• RHIT or CCS certification.
