Overview

This position is responsible for answering incoming calls related to eligibility, benefits, claims, coverage, and authorization of services in a healthcare environment, ensuring a great customer experience.

In Short

  • Answer incoming phone calls via ACD phone system.
  • Retrieve voice mails.
  • Provide eligibility, benefits, claim, and referral status.
  • Assist in resolving issues related to claims, authorization, and eligibility inquiries.
  • Strong sense of responsibility for customer experience.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of billing codes and forms.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a call center or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a sitting position, use a computer, and answer telephone.
